Quality-relevant data needs to be available at every step of the production process and interfaces for recording and monitoring it have to be created to provide relevant data on components.
This working group has realized that AM places different demands on digital systems than conventional production processes and is therefore concentrating on the following main topics:
Identifying necessary system interfaces which are not served in the classical production environment
Defining white spots in the digital production chain
Defining integrated, user-oriented software solutions
Consolidating needs concerning relevant IT control
Creating an agreement on software industry standards
