[vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]Knowing well that the current measures taken are of vital importance for our society we however must admit that – alike to most people – we are still a bit under shock about the great impact Sars-CoV-2 has onto our businesses and lives just now.
Nonetheless, as MGA we are totally convinced it is the right time for additive manufacturing to prove its capabilities and potentials. 3D printing can help to overcome these tough times, not only to avoid supply bottlenecks. Take Italy, for example, where a hospital in desperate need of ventilators to ensure survival, has used 3D-printed attachments realized by The FabLab and thus, has saved lives with a rapid response to the shortage of valves: https://www.3dprintingmedia.network/ Sars-CoV-2-3d-printed-valve-for-reanimation-device/amp/.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]
What does the recent situation imply for our daily work within the network?
To us it’s clear – we will of course continue our working group meetings! The formats will now be conducted virtually with a shortened agenda but in parallel with a higher frequency to e-meet. Until further notice we will carry out our working group meetings as video calls.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]All Working Group members will be informed separately by mail. Right now, the following sessions are being scheduled:[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”503″ img_size=”102×52″][dt_vc_list]
