MGA Medical: Working Group Hospitals Needs Your Input!

We need you for our MGA Medical Hospitals AM multicenter study!

Within our Working Group we would like to perform studies on ethically approved DICOM datasets of pelvic CTs from Universitätsklinikum Münster (UKM), including inter-/intra-observer studies and quality assessments on printing parameters for anatomical models. Many thanks to our working group leaders Max Tönnemann and Martin Schulz for bringing up the initial idea and providing the data.

Within our project we want to compare:

  • Segmenters with different experience levels
  • Segmentation software: free vs. certified
  • MEX-Printers/Printers/AM-Technologies
  • and others…
  • Who should join us:

  • Physicians (surgeons, radiologists)
  • Clinical designers/ engineers
  • and others…
  • On 18 April 2023 we will start this project with a virtual meeting from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. For participation and further information please contact Cora LĂĽders-Theuerkauf!

Survey to develop a map: AM in hospitals

We are currently creating a map with as many hospitals as possible in Germany and then Europe and worldwide to improve the exchange and knowledge of each other. So far, unfortunately, this is still a big dark hole.

If you are working in a hospital and are looking for a partner for a new AM project or want to know who is doing what with which technology and material, you can also be part of it.

We would be happy if you take the short minute to fill it out.
For the time being, the map will only be available in the members’ area of our website and will be made available to other clinic employees upon request.
