Nicole Friedrich is a qualified mechanical engineer and currently serves as the Chairwoman of the Management Board of DB Fahrzeuginstandhaltung GmbH. Her career with Deutsche Bahn began in 2001 when she took over the management of the Krefeld plant. In this role, she was not only responsible for the plant but also acted as a key account manager for the “Electric Multiple Units” product area.
In 2007, she transitioned to DB Netz AG, where she initially served as Head of Maintenance at the headquarters. Later, she became Head of Production, overseeing railroad operations and infrastructure in the federal states of Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate. Before assuming her current position, she was the Head of Infrastructure Procurement (FE.EI) at the DB Group, where she gained extensive experience in procurement and management of infrastructure projects.
