Laboratorium Fertigungstechnik is part of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Helmut-Schmidt-University in Hamburg. It conducts cutting-edge research in microproduction, robotics and automation, value creation systems, and new technologies and materials. LaFT collaborates closely with industrial and academic partners—including the Bundeswehr and Airbus—to develop innovative manufacturing methods, additive technologies, and lightweight composite solutions
