Dr. Elena Lopez studied chemical engineering at the Universidad de Valladolid and Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. After finalising her PhD, she moved to Printing and Additive Manufacturing technologies in 2014. She is Head of Department for Additive Manufacturing at Fraunhofer IWS and the European Ampassador of Women in 3D Printing.
