RAILiability

The railways in Europe are major drivers of additive manufacturing and they have a great interest in bringing more AM applications to the market. Implementing a new technology into a market cannot be done overnight, it especially needs these applications.

This Working Group is for rail providers only but opening up to new technologies/materials and to collaboratively address problems together with industrial partners. If you want to apply or share your ideas with the group, please reach out to Linus Tillmann. Thank you for your understanding.

This working group is a protected space for railway companies to share knowledge, to reach 100% availability of spare parts and rolling stock and to optimize supply chain costs.

Already this cooperation helps new players to accelerate much faster and has achieved that 3D printing requirements are integrated into the tender for new rail vehicles.
