  • Digital Supply Chain

Identifies challenges in the supply chain and explores additive manufacturing optimization.

Additive Manufacturing as a technology has many advantages, one major one being the fact that the conventional supply chains are no longer necessary, as more and more steps of the production process are being digitalized.

This working group is focusing on analyzing the AM Supply Chain and identifying optimization potential in order to derive general statements for similar components.
A first step was the mapping of the digital supply chain for additively manufactured products. Then they collected lots of use cases to evaluate common characteristics and properties for sorting additively manufactured parts.
