Session #3: Additive Inspirations
A virtual teaser to the MGA Annual Meeting 2020
After our last two Additive Inspirations with mobility and medtech focus, the August brown bag session #3 will give a true inspiration from a different industry: Construction Technology.
We hope you join in and sign up for Filippo Gilardi, R&D Lead at MX3D, on 27 August 2020 from 11.30 to 12.15 CEST who will present a use case of a metal 3d printed bridge and invites you to explore the AM potential in the construction and architecture industry.
Why bridges and construction? Mobility has a very close link to infrastructure projects which is also why we invited a concrete 3d printing manufacturer to come and speak about 3d printing with concrete at our MGA Annual Meeting 2020 from 6 until 7 October 2020.
After the Corona shutdown, digital technologies are in greater demand than ever before: aviation and automotive markets have suffered severely from the crisis, new jobs for 3D printing machines have to be identified to fill capacities, while operators try to compensate for supply bottlenecks with 3D printing. Additive Manufacturing is in search of new impulses for its market.
To sweeten the wait time to our MGA Annual Meeting 2020 (6 – 7 October 2020, Berlin) and to use it effectively, we have started Additive Inspirations end of June, a new series of virtual keynotes once a month. In exciting presentations, we will highlight recent practical examples and give impulses as to the segments in which Additive Manufacturing can apply and expand its potential.
