Johannes Emmelheinz studied biomedical engineering at the University of Gießen and business administration at the Fernuniversität IWW Hagen and gained over 30 years of experience in the medical and mobility industry.
Since 2012 he has been CEO Customer Services of Siemens Mobility GmbH and sees AM as a decisive step in innovation. “We are able to revolutionize logistics chains by printing spare parts only on site. In addition, AM offers the possibility to react quickly with design corrections to weak points that have been identified during operation”.
His conclusion: “AM will lead to higher availability and lower overall costs”.
